Buzet – europski grad sporta

Čestitke Gradu Buzetu. Domaćin Wild Boar Valley Challengea je odlukom Europske komisije postao europski grad sporta.

Buzet je nadaleko poznat po Europskom prvenstvu brdskih utrka, Europskom enduro prvenstvu, biciklističkom Downhill prvenstvu, Wild boar Valley Challengeu i rukometu.

Nekoliko gradova godišnje dobije ovu prestižnu titulu, a niz kriterija treba zadovoljiti.

Vidimo se u listopadu na #WBVC2016

Spremni za prijavu WBVC 2016?

Započeli smo sa procesom registracije za Wild Boar Valley Challenge 2016. Kao što smo već spomenuli, možete se registrirati ovdje. Odaberite klasu u kojoj želite sudjelovati. Nadam se da su neki od vas Quad vozači, u tom slučaju imamo i quad klasu za vas.

Broj vozila će biti limitiran, nemojte čekati predugo. Ako se unaprijed registrirate, dobiti ćete 100 eura popusta i pravo sudjelovanja u utrci bez obzira na sve.

Jedanaest mjeseci prije početka Wild Boar Valley Challenge-a 2016 već imamo potvrđenih preko 20 posada. Ispunite formular i odmah ćemo vas kontaktirati za detalje.

Welsh Xtrem daje besplatnu startninu za WBVC 2016

Nakon nekoliko godina osrednje posjećenosti natjecanja Wild Boar Valley Challenge, nedavno izdanje nam je otvorilo oči i odlučili smo da Wild Boar Valley Challenge 2016 ima šansu postati respektabilno međunarodno natjecanje sa velikim brojem posada.

Nekoliko quadova je nastupilo ove godine. Nažalost je i nekoliko vozila iz Challenge (lakše) klase odustalo jer im vozila nisu bila dovoljno dobro pripremljena za navedenu klasu.

Zato smo za sljedeću godinu opet pripremili dvije klase, sa točno definiranim pravilima. Wild Trophy (teža) klasa će više-manje izgledati isto kao i do sada (pogledajte fotogaleriju iz 2015). Za terence u Challenge klasi obavezno je vitlo i AT gume – MT gume strogo preporučamo.

Odlučili smo promovirati Wild Boar Valley Challenge 2016 na nekoliko događanja diljem Europe, za početak na Welsh Xtrem utrci (pogledajte web stranicu) koja će se održati u Walesu od 6.-8. ožujka 2016.
Welsh Xtrem će pobjedniku utrke dodijeliti besplatnu startninu za Wild Boar Valley Challenge 2016.

Ako nekim čudnim slučajem budete tamo, obratite se bilo kojem članu organizacije koji će vam bez problema ustupiti prijavni list kojeg možete ispuniti, a vaše će nam podatke poslati kako bismo vas mogli kontaktirati za daljnje detalje.

Wild Boar Valley Challenge Report 2015

As I Walk through the valley of the shadow of death (u slobodnom prijevodu: Dok hodam dolinom smrti…). Stihovi pjesme Gangsta’s Paradise (Coolio) uz par manjih izmjena savršeno opisuju molitve natjecatelja kada se pred njima stvori Blue Canyon roadbook na Wild Boar valley Challenge-u – Buzet, Hrvatska. No Blue Canyon nije jedini problem za natjecatelje, uz duboku vodu, blato, stijene i uske šumske puteve, kanjon je samo jedna od prepreka koje treba savladati.

Jaka kiša koja je neprestano padala netom prije Wild Boar Valley Challenge-a pobrinula se upravo za ono čemu je namijenjena – da zagorča život svim natjecateljima, pogotovo na prologu i kružnoj utrci na poligonu u Škuljarima kraj Buzeta. Tiha, kristalno čista voda u malom potočiću i gusta šuma na brdu. izgleda tako mirno u jutarnjoj magli.
I tada… Kao da se zemlja otvorila. Jedno po jedno, vozila startaju na prolog. Sve i dalje izgleda prihvatljivo. Ali nakon masovnog starta kružne utrke – ratna zona!
Prvi Wild Boar Valley Challenge Roadbook je bio samo uvertira u sljedećih 5 dana vožnje. Ruta je uglavnom bila na planini Ćićarija. Uski šumski putevi i kamenje nisu tehnički bili toliko zahtjevni, ali su blokade i snažna vitla odigrala bitnu ulogu

Ovaj mali crni Suzuki nažalost utrku nije završio. Ali mnogo visokobudžetih vozila mu nije bilo ni blizu. kao što rekoh, idealan auto za ovakvu utrku ne postoji. Strast posade i želja za pobjedom ih je skoro dovela do kraja. Nakon cijele noći popravaka prednje osovine i diferencijala, ujutro su startali. Nekoliko dana kasnije su morali odustati zbog kvara za koji nisu imali potrebnih rezervnih dijelova.
Za razliku od prvog roadbooka, Blue Canyon roadbook je bio iznimno zahtjevan. Gledatelji i press koji ovamo godinama dolaze su složno zaključili da je ovogodišnje izdanje kanjona bila jedna od najatraktivnijih scena u povijesti Wild Boar valley Challenge-a.

Samo je jedna posada uspjela proći kroz Blue Canyon bez vitlanja – Hajdu Offroad team iz Mađarske. Nije nemoguća misija. Ali vrlo blizu.

Ultra4 Buggy Luce Fontanija. reklo bi se da će sa ovakvim autom utrku završiti. Ali… Uglavnom, doći će sljedeće godine sa drugim vozilom.
WBVC je poznat po kvalitetnim i dobro osmišljenim roadbook etapama. Svaki ima nekoliko mjesta namijenjenih gledateljima i novinarima. Tijekom dana se pomiču sa mjesta na mjesto i prate natjecatelje.

 Eibensteinner / Deutschmann su utrku završili na drugom mjestu, evo fotke sa Super Extreme utrke posljednjeg dana. Nije ništa promijenila u ukupnom poretku, ali je svakako bila prava poslastica za gledatelje i vozače.
Wild Boar Valley Challenge se sastoji od 5 roadbooka, prolog i kružna utrka se održavaju na poligonu prvog dana u Škuljarima. Posljednji dan je rezerviran za super extreme na poligonu.
Nakon nekoliko godina na ovoj utrci, mogu samo zaključiti da idealan auto za ovu utrku ne postoji.

Vidimo se sljedeće godine!

WILD BOAR WALLEY CHALLENGE
Rules & Regulations
1. VEHICLE MINIMAL TEHNICAL CONDITIONS
 Every vehicle has to be insured, with valid license plate and all regular main road equipment (lights, tail lights etc.)
 Every vehicle have to have a proper ECE aproowed windshield. No plexi or window glass is allowed.
 No leaks of oil or other fluids are alloved
 Every vehicle has to have a roll cage (roll-bar). See min. proposition at 1-A
 TIRE 31″ (79 cm) or higher for small vehicles (samurai, feroza), and 33″ (83 cm) or higher for other vehicles.
 The tire must be mud-terrain or similar, no all-terrain or street version are accepted
 No tracktor, agricultural or HD working mashine tires are allowed, only off-road tires with DOT or E.. label are allowed
 No „wheel Chain“ are allowed
 Spare tire
 Winch. See min. proposition at 1-B
 Hi-lift
 Tree trunk protector strap, round one like roop is not allowed
 9m of recovery straps
 “Tow hook” or “ring” , front & rear
 First aid box. See 1-C
 Fire estinguisher. See 1-D
 Seat belts. See 1-E
 helmet & hand glowes. See 1-F
 Stairway (loading ramps) & ancor are allowed
 Tripmaster
 Compas
 The participants have to be at least 18 year old
1-A The roll-bar is for your own safety. At least have one as original Wrangler have. Min. teh. proposition for a roll-bar are 1 solid arch, bent not velded, and that it has 2 supports velded in highest point by angle of min. 30 degrees. 4 solid fixed bedplate. Min. tube diameter 50mm.
1-B Electric winch untill 9500lb may use 8mm of wire or synthetic dynema roope. Electric winches over this strenght, hydraulic and PTO winches have to use at least 10mm of wire or synthetic roope.
1-C First Aid-Box have to be at least as the one in your car wich pass the ECE norm
1-D Fire estiguisher min. 2KG (May be 2 X 1 KG) but it have to be recharcheble & tested.
1-E No 2 point seat belts allowed. At least 3 point (car use) or more.
1-F Helmet. No recreation helmet allowed . The helmet have to be ECE tested for auto-moto or regular trafic use.
1- G ATV must have winch
1- H ATV driver must wear helmet and protection

There will be a serious check-in inspection before registration so please present all your equipment ready at start – VEHICLE WITHOUT THESE MINIMAL CONDITION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE RACE

2. RULES AND REGULATIONS
A) The race is concepted by more special stages wich are timed. Every special stage is timed and scored for him self. The penality is scored in time and adapted to each special stage separately.
B) No help is allowed to the race crew (pilot & navigator, in following text: crew) during the special stage*.
* – During the road book race, help is allowed only from other crews, but only from those who is still in the race.
C) During the special test & road book:
 both the driver & navigator must have the “helmet” on and fastened at all time
 on the start & finish lane and during the race “seat belts” must be fastened, even by winching or any other movement of SUV
 everyone using the “Winch”, straps or cable (even synthetic one) must wear “hand gloves”
 For each violation of this rules above the crew will be punished “10 minutes”
 The penality is multipled by number of penality made during the special stage (also if done by driver and navigator)
 This penality is called security punishment.
D) For lost or misplaced parts on the track (used as a help on a special stage), will be punished with “5 minutes”.
E) Any garbage or wast thrown out the vehicle will also be punished with “5 minutes”
F) Traspassing the finnish lane towing anything on the floor (as wire roop, straps or any other belongnings) will be punished with „5 minutes“. The winch roop or cable most be on drum both on the start and finnish lane.
G) During the special stage (after the start or before the finnish lane), the winch wire or attached straps can be IN or ON the vehicle but not in the crews cocpit, if its apear this will be treated as security punishment = 10 min.
H) Thrue the finnish lane the navigator can be out of SUV and pass before or after the SUV, the finnish time will be the last thing which traspassing thrue the finnish lane.
I) If track use markers as pin point, flags or stripes, anybody who tears them down will be punished for each of it „15 minutes„.
J) Each special test will have a maximum pass true time.
K) When the special test is not realised or done in over time, then the crew score will be 30% more then the worst regular time realised in this special test. The security punishment will be added no mater if the crew is in overtime.
L) If during the special stage or test the crew reach any kind of help (material or manual) out of above written regulation (2-B), they will be punnished and scored as not realised time.
M) If the crew does not appear in time to the begining of the special stage, or even not do it for any reason, then the crew score will be 50% more then the worst regular time realised in this special stage or test.
N) During the Road Book race days, between the timed section there will be free drive (not measured by time) but still given a maximum pass across time, which will be more than fer for a slow normal drive trough. If the crew not arrive to the next measured start position by this given time, they will be punnished with 30% on all extra time they needed to arrive to these start station. This regulation is made thatfore that nobody could reach the servis zone and repair the vehicle in the time provided by organiser between two measured section during the Road Book and not to be penalised.
O) Before start of any special stage, to the crew is allowed to cary off anything of vehicle that they think is not neccesary for the special stage. Untill traspassing the finnish line they are not allowed to touch or use this things. Do they touch or use this things they will be punnished as help from the side.
P) If some crew loos a member during the challenge for any reason, they can exchange it with any other crew members from the challenge who decided to finnish the challenge, but not with the crew members who finnished allready all the challenge regulary. They can also choose someone other but only after the one is inscripted regulary on the race, that can be done only at inscription point and betwen two special stage not during it. The one who decide to be replaced have no more rights to participate untill the finnish of this Challenge. The crews who changed some participants, have no more rights to race awards. They have rights only to the Cup if betwen first 3 places, and the awards is going to the next positioned crew.
R) If some crews or teams have a spare vehicle, they have to verify it by check-in inspection before the start of the race and make a tecnical inspection for it. Diverse crews can later use this vehicle as a excange vehicle but only once its allowed to replace this vehicle and than it have to be driven to the finnish of the challenge. The excanged vehicle can not more be used during the challenge. In this case the crews who excanged vehicle will be treated and scored same as crews under rule 2-P).
S) If some vehicle recive serious damage during the Challenge, every referee has right to stop him in further driving and send him to repair the the vehicle. After any similar situation the vehicle have to pass an emergency tehnical inspection which will be organised for this vehicle every evening after or morning before the race day.
T) The driver & navigator may exchange their place between them anytime during the challenge.
U) The winner will be the crew with the best overall time summed toghether by every special stage on the Challenge.
V) ATV drivers drive in group of two ATV

3. SPONSORS & ADVERTISING STICKERS
A) The vehicles with doors are pleased to keep them clean and free for Wild boar valley challenge 2013 sponsors stickers. If there still be some advertising or stickers on the doors they will be covered with no excuse.
B) The vehicles without doors are pleased to keep their rear fenders and sides clean and free for Wild boar valley challenge 2013 stickers. If in this case there will still be some stickers they will also be covered
C) You may advertise your own sponsor on all other parts of your vehicle Thanks for understanding.

4. VIOLATIONS WHICH BRINGS TO AUTOMATIC ELIMINATION FROM THE CHALLENGE
 Short cutting the track or arguing and offending the referees
 Crossing meadows or fields
 Not using the tree trunk protector
 Driving around on meadow doing „american circles“
 Visually drunk drivers or those who use drugs during the challenge

5. ACCEPTED INTO THE RACE
 30 registered crews in Challenge class
 20 registered crews in Light class

WBVC 2015 Poziv

Dragi prijatelji i off road fanovi, “KAMO OKO VIDI” Extreme4x4Club poziva Vas na 9. Wild Boar valley challenge od 18 do 24 Listopada u Buzet, Istra. Predsjednik kluba, Gosp. Gordan Krota i svi ostali članovi kluba potrudit će se da svi iskusite istarsku ljubaznost.

Svake godine pokušavamo pripremiti još i bolji roadbook i special stage gdje iskustvo tima odlučuje o pobjedniku.

Utrka se održava na različitim vrstama terena gotovo svakog dana, što je čini atraktivnom za natjecatelje kao i za gledatelje. Pripremili smo dvije vrlo atraktivne lokacije gdje će gledatelji moći vidjeti koliko se natjecatelji moraju truditi za postolje.

Wild Boar Valley Challenge 2015 Utrka

Balkan, zemlja poznata po lijepim utrkama. Wild Boar Valley challenge, iako ne previše poznat u Europi, jedna je od njih. Istina, blato Croatia Trophija je legendarno ali na WBVC-u u Buzetu ćete doživjti 7 dana blata, kamenja, pijeska i lapora.

Samo najjači mogu osvojiti ovo natjcanje. Opstanak najboljih je zakon u off roadu. Sa preko 100 km roadbooka dnevno, itekako ćete imati vremena dokazati se.

ORGA iz Kamo Oko Vidi svake godine naglašava da ovo nije natjecanje na kojem će prevladati vaše vozilo. Na ovom natjecanju, vozilo bez vještine tima neće ništa postići. Savršena suradnja vozača i suvozača i malo sreće su jedino rješenje za stići do cilja Wild Boar Valley Challengea 2015..

Sa druge strane, ako se ne želite natjecati. Uz stazu će biti puno mjesta namijenjnih gldateljima.
